PC390S Groover/Grinder

PC390 Groover/Grinder

Engine:  Cummins M-11 liquid cooled, turbo charged six cylinder diesel engine.  Power output at operating speed of 2100 RPM is 300 HP.  Fuel consumption of 12-18 gph.  Fuel capacity is 100 gallons.

Head Drive:  Power to the bladeshaft is transmitted through a manual clutch into a right angle drive gearbox via a special shock absorbing coupling.  The right angle drive output is through ten-5VX950 heavy duty "V" belts on each side of the bladeshaft.  Bladeshaft speed is 1037-1425 rpm using reduction sheave setup and 1482-1900 rpm using overdrive sheave setup.  Changing setups is accomplished by swapping sheaves and bushing top to bottom.

Blade Shaft:  5" spindle diameter accepting up to 40" wide stack of 12" diameter blades.  Material is heat treated alloy steel.  Bladeshaft is supported by 3-7/16" spherical roller type bearings, fitted with proprietary field proven seals.

Propulsion:  Traction power is provided by a hydraulic motor driven four-speed mechanical transmission through a speical limited slip drive axle.  The drive axle is fitted with two 22 x 16 x 10 heavy duty tires.  Speed is 4 mph forward/reverse.

Water Vacuum System:  Machine includes on board hydraulically-driven vacuum blower for picking up the slurry and 3' diaphragm trash pump to discharge slurry.

Dimensions:  Length: 25' 4"  Width: 80"  Height: 90"  Weight: 24,040 lbs.  Width of 93" with grooving wheels installed.  The front bogey assembly is adjustable from 8' to 11' to centerline of the bladeshaft.
